Left in lieu of a tip. Gotta love those Republicans, huh?
This is such absolute bullshit. This guy paid to have these cards printed and then went out to dinner, sitting there in a restaurant enjoying service he knew he wouldn’t be paying for, before leaving this? Nuh-uh.
I’m also tired of these conservative-owned businesses trying to act like they “HAVE” to add an Obama-tax or cut employees or whatever when they could very easily take that little bit of extra expense from another area. Like how rather than raising their prices CENTS per pizza, Papa John’s said “no benefits,” because that makes perfect sense. Do these people really think they can redirect blame and get people pissed at the president this way? How does that benefit anyone, anyway, he’s already re-elected. How about instead of trying to prove a point at any cost, you do the decent human being thing? GAH.
Reblogging for the above commentary. If you are a Republican, I want nothing to do with you, and frankly wish you’d move to Iran.
^ Tolerance.
Whoever left this card is on my “meet” list.
As a conservative, I am ashamed and upset at what this person has done. That is low. Very, very low. Part of going out to eat includes tipping the server. If you cannot afford that portion of the evening, then you should eliminate dining out altogether. This is ridiculous. But I guess I should move to Iran, because all Republicans agree with this…..
Also, if you don’t agree with Papa John’s, don’t work there, and don’t purchase anything from there. They are free to run their business as they so choose. As they begin to be taxed more and more, that freedom is decreasing, but they are still free to say yes or no to benefits, for now. They are benefits, not rights.
I misunderstood the situation, I didn’t think this was over a tip. If so, then this is very low, and what sjaw said accurately describes the situation.
